From every day to one time a month, the residents and staff are happy for your assistance. Assistance is needed mornings, afternoons & evenings. Positions are arranged based upon your availability.
Share your time, knowledge and love in one of the following areas: Escort residents to and from daily therapies, activities, beauty shop, special events and religious services.
Be a friend to our resident by reading, writing a letter or just stopping by for a friendly visit.
Gift & Bake Shops – assist customers & residents, arrange merchandise, serve lunch & baked goods.
Special Events – assist at special events such as the Manor's yearly picnic, Breakfast with Santa and the Easter Egg Hunt.
JUNIOR VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIESYouths, 13 to 17 years of age, can become involved with the residents as Junior Volunteers, assisting in the following areas: Physical therapy – escort residents to and from therapy and beauty shop appointments. On the nursing floors, you can stop by to visit the residents for a chat, or deliver and read them their mail.
Youth volunteers assist delivering newspapers, mail and flowers, along with visiting with residents. They assist residents with recreational activities, including games such as Wii, bingo, bean bags, card games and more.
